Tax experts to gather at ABA Midyear Tax Meeting in San Francisco, Jan. 18-20

WASHINGTON, Jan. 17, 2024 – Government officials from the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury will join the country’s leading tax attorneys to discuss the latest federal, state and local tax policies at the American Bar Association 2024 Midyear Tax Meeting to be held Jan. 18-20 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco.

The experts will give updates on issues ranging from employee benefits to artificial intelligence. A luncheon and plenary session will feature a panel discussion on “The Structure of Revolutions in Taxation and the Law: Paradigm Shifts Caused by Artificial Intelligence,” on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 12-1:30 p.m. PST. Panelists will discuss the current revolution taking place in the practice of tax and law, how artificial intelligence is changing the world and what practitioners should know for the future.
