Manuela Cabal leverages her background in biomedical engineering to serve some of the world’s leading innovators. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies in the medical device, biomedical, and biotechnology industries, among others. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, strategy, due diligence, and transactions, and she has deep experience with pre-suit investigation and assessment, pleading and motion practice, and all phases of discovery.
In addition to her robust practice, Manuela is also very involved with the community. She serves as a committee co-chair for the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law, where she helps lead a group focused on inclusion and networking among women attorneys of all backgrounds. Manuela also currently volunteers with the Chicago Legal Clinic, representing low-income clients in contested expungement and sealing of records proceedings, and the National Immigrant Justice Center, representing immigrant families seeking asylum.
She is a member of the McAndrews Diversity Committee and the Recruiting Committee, and was elected by her peers to serve as Co-Chair of McAndrews’ Partners and Associates Development Committee.
