About the Committee
The Young Lawyers Forum was created in May 2000 to serve as a point of entry for young lawyers and law students into the Section of Taxation. The goals of the Young Lawyers Forum are as follows:
- To promote active participation and membership of young lawyers and law students in the Section and its respective Committees, to assess any barriers to such active participation and membership, and to make recommendations to Section leadership on how to eliminate such barriers.
- To provide continuing education targeted toward young lawyers and law students interested in tax.
- To foster an open environment that facilitates and encourages networking and career development for young lawyers and law students interested in tax.
