Workers' Compensation, Residential Real Estate

Private Programs: Business Bankruptcy, Civil Trial Advocacy, Consumer Bankruptcy, Criminal Trial Advocacy

Regulatory Scheme: Connecticut Rule of Professional Conduct 7.4A permits attorneys to state or imply that they are certified specialists where certification is granted "by a board or other entity which is approved by the Rules Committee of the Superior Court." [Rule 7.4A]. ABA accredited programs sponsored by the American Board of Certification, the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and the National Association of Counsel for Children have been approved by the Rules Committee. Additionally, the Connecticut Bar Association has approved standards, procedures and rules in the area of Workers' Compensation law and Residential Real Esatate law and is certifying attorneys directly in these areas of practice.
