Fall Meeting a success. Section members gathered for education, networking and some fun in the sun at the LPM Fall Meeting in St. Maarten in October. In addition to business and program planning meetings, LPM welcomed a special guest speaker, Gerald Riskin, author of the ABA book and CD series The Successful Lawyer. Section leaders were especially pleased to welcome a significant number of newly active members from the ABA Young Lawyers Division, and LPM looks forward to their continued participation.

Buzz continues in the legal marketing and business development community regarding the ABA Law Firm Marketing Strategies Conference, November 12-13 in Philadelphia. Two prominent -keynoters and programs on the most current topics in firm marketing-—ethical issues surrounding law firm marketing, media strategies, the effective use of online marketing and more—made the conference much anticipated throughout the year.
