Law Practice Magazine
PROFESSIONAL ADMINISTRATORS ISSUE
Spring has sprung! Following the success of ABA TECHSHOW® in March, the Law Practice Management Section continues its commitment to helping lawyers and firms improve the practice of law, through ongoing CLE teleconferences, a bevy of superb new Section publications and, of course, the upcoming LPM Section Spring Meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Attendance At ABA TECHSHOW® Exceeds 2,000. The 22nd annual ABA TECHSHOW, held March 13-15 in Chicago, was one of the LPM Section’s largest and highest-rated conferences in recent years. The conference featured three days of CLE, a sold-out technology expo, and the first James I. Keane Award for excellence in e-lawyering. (See story on page 5.) Marc Rotenberg of the Electronic Privacy Information Center keynoted the conference with a discussion of Internet privacy issues and an analysis of the investigation that led to New York Governor Eliot Spitzer’s resignation from office.
