Nicknames and Cheek Pinching By Teacher Not Emotional Abuse

The Connecticut Court of Appeals reversed an order finding a teacher had emotionally abused a child by calling him nicknames and pinching his cheeks. These actions did not rise to the level of emotional abuse where the consensus among other students and the school was that his joking was not clearly inappropriate.
