The National Labor Relations Board for the first time in 10 years is operating with a full Board. The issues the NLRB must tackle include the Supreme Court’s decision in Noel Canning, in which the Court will decide the constitutionality of the President’s 2012 Board recess appointments and which has the potential of invalidating hundreds of NLRB rulings.

In this program, the NLRB’s General Counsel, Richard F. Griffin, and experienced union and management-side counsel, will discuss a variety of hot topics pending before the NLRB, including the impact of the Noel Canning ruling, the NLRB’s proposed amendments to representation-case procedures, the Board’s ruling concerning bargaining units in Specialty Healthcare, and the issue of whether private college football players are employees and thus able to unionize.
