Going to Court provides a younger generation with an in-depth look at the processes of the U.S. Justice System. This middle grade textbook is a user-friendly, kid-friendly version of a law book to understand civil and criminal trials. It provides a fun and interactive learning process highlighting different types of court systems, how to dispute outside of court, how lawyers prepare for trial, and what happens after it has ended.
Divided into two parts for criminal and civil trials, each chapter examines a sample case with writing activities and prompts readers with related test questions.
