Economic uncertainties, homelessness top agenda at ABA meeting in D.C., May 21-23

WASHINGTON, May 7, 2025 — The American Bar Association Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law will meet with legal, government and private housing experts to discuss access to affordable housing, insurance for housing, tax credits and homelessness May 21-23, at the Salamander Hotel in Washington.

Sara C. Bronin, professor at Cornell University and founder and CEO of the National Zoning Atlas, will talk about her new book, “Key to the City: How Zoning Shapes Our World” during the opening plenary session at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday. Maria Foscarinis, author of “And Housing for All: The Fight to End Homelessness in America,” will be the Friday luncheon speaker at 12:50 p.m.
