WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2024 — National security legal experts, professors, military officials, industry experts and current and former senior officials from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, National Security Council, National Defense University, U.S. Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute, U.S. Department of Treasury and the National Defense University will meet at the 34th Annual Review of the Field of National Security Law Conference, Nov. 14-15, in Washington, D.C.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, Mike Gallagher, former congressman from Wisconsin and former chair of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, will give the keynote address at 12:45 p.m. EST on “The Chinese Communist Party and U.S. National Security.”
There will be a fireside chat at 6 p.m. EST with retired Admiral James A. “Sandy” Winnefeld, USN (ret), chair of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board and former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, on “U.S. National Power in a Turbulent World.”
Jane Harman, former member of Congress from California and chair of the Commission on the National Defense Strategy, will also give a keynote speech at 1:15 p.m. EST on Friday, Nov. 15, on “Forging a Broader National Defense Strategy.”
