Design and AI top ABA Construction Law Fall Meeting, Oct. 23-25

WASHINGTON, Oct. 9, 2024 — Legal, design and construction experts will meet Oct. 23-25 during the Forum on Construction Law 2024 Fall Meeting, “The Built Environment: Drawing on Design” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The three-day meeting brings together national and international experts who will discuss and explore new-age techniques and technology to solve traditional design issues.

The Diversity Breakfast keynote speaker will be Carla Swickerath, a partner at Studeio Libeskind. Having led complex redevelopment projects around the world, including the World Trade Center, Swickerath works to transform communities through design. In Pittsburgh, the architecture firm is working to rebuild the site of an antisemitic attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue where 11 people were killed. The renovated place of worship will include a museum, memorial and center for education.

Programs will cover topics that range from design to AI in construction. The sessions include:

  • “AI in Construction: Navigating Legal & Ethical Terrains”
