Supreme Court, AI and more to be in spotlight at ABA virtual Fall Tax Meeting

WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 2024 – Department of Justice and U.S. Tax Court officials will give an insider’s view of the U.S. Supreme Court at the American Bar Association Section of Taxation Virtual 2024 Fall Tax Meeting, to be held online Sept. 23-27.

Deputy Solicitor General Curtis E. Gannon will join Judge Albert G. Lauber of the U.S. Tax Court and Francesca Ugolini, chief of the U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division, for the opening plenary “Tax at the Court: A Behind-the-Scenes Look from Both Sides of the Supreme Bench” at noon-12:30 p.m. EDT on Monday, Sept. 23. The session will be moderated by Gil Rothenberg, lecturer in law at Penn Law School and adjunct professor at Temple Law School and American University Law School.
