Enforcement priorities, AI on tap for 10th Southeastern White Collar Crime Institute

WASHINGTON, Aug.  29, 2024 – The Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar Association will hold its 10th Anniversary Southeastern White Collar Crime Institute Sept. 4-6 at Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia.

All three Georgia U.S. attorneys, together with the U.S. attorneys for the Western District of North Carolina and Northern District of Alabama, will join a roundtable discussion of significant white-collar enforcement priorities in their districts, including the latest trends and initiatives that the Department of Justice is pursuing nationally in cybersecurity, corporate fraud, health care fraud, public corruption and other white-collar criminal enforcement areas.

A panel of U.S. District Court judges from Georgia also will share their expectations from counsel who appear before them and from the federal system in general.
