WASHINGTON, Nov. 2, 2023 – The American Bar Association Section of State and Local Government Law will host a free webinar on firearms law on Nov. 8. Experts from the Duke Center for Firearms Law will participate in a conversation about the legal issues surrounding gun policy.
The discussion will focus on the Second Amendment, the Supreme Court’s 2022
New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc., et al v. Bruen, Superintendent of New York State Police, et al Inc., decision, practical guidance for litigators and policymakers and a preview of the Supreme Court’s next major gun-related case, United States v. Rahimi.
Joseph Blocher and Darrell Miller, co-directors at the Duke Center for Firearms Law, will lead the discussion.
