ABA video wins prestigious Telly Award

The ABA earned a Silver Telly in the Non-Broadcast – Corporate Image category of  the 44th annual Telly Awards, which honor excellence in video and television.

Produced by the Media Relations and Strategic Communications Division, the “Defending Liberty, Pursuing Justice” video was shown at the ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago last August. The fast-paced video provides a sampling of the ABA entities’ most notable initiatives. In particular, it highlights the work of the Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary, the Military Pro Bono Project and Military and Veterans Legal Center, the Center for Public Interest Law, the Commission on Immigration and the Rule of Law Initiative.

The Telly Awards were founded in 1979 to honor excellence in local, regional and cable television commercials, with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after.

The Telly Awards receive more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents and recognize work that has been created on the behalf of a client, for a specific brand and/or company or self-directed videos created as a creative endeavor.

The Media Relations Division also won Telly Awards in 2021 and 2022, including an award for a video featuring 10 female ABA presidents reflecting on the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and another focusing on legal deserts.
