CHICAGO, Feb. 15, 2023 — The American Bar Association’s ABA TECHSHOW 2023, which showcases the most useful and practical technologies available in the legal industry, will be held March 1-4 in Chicago.
Lawyers, legal professionals and technology all come together at the show, which will feature more than 60 panels and presentations covering eight tracks, from litigation tech and financial management to operations and marketing.

Among conference highlights will be two keynote panels:
“Legaltech Visionaries,” hosted by Clio CEO and founder Jack Newton, on Thursday, March 2 at 8:30 a.m. CST. Tech innovators Erin Levine, CEO and founder of Hello Divorce; Kim Bennett, co-founder of Fidu Legal; and Jazz Hampton, CEO and general counsel of TurnSignl are the featured speakers.
“Public Hearing on Proposals to Amend Rules of Professional Conduct 5.4 and 5.5,” moderated by Jayne Reardon of Jayne Reardon Consulting, on Friday, March 3 at 8:45 a.m. CST.
Panelists Lynda Shely of The Shely Firm, Darth Vaughn of Ford Motor Co. and Ed Walters of Fastcase will discuss whether the model rules of professional conduct should be relaxed to address the growing access-to-justice problem and other challenges affecting legal services delivery.
For the seventh consecutive year, ABA TECHSHOW will host the Startup Pitch Competition, which will kick off the gathering on March 1 at 5 p.m. CST. Fifteen legal startups will face off in the competition, judged by TECHSHOW attendees who will pick the most innovative startup for the year.
