ABA TECHSHOW 2022 to showcase latest in technology for the legal industry

CHICAGO, Feb. 23, 2022 — The American Bar Association’s ABA TECHSHOW 2022, which shines a spotlight on the most useful and practical technologies available in the legal industry, will be held March 2-5 in Chicago.

Lawyers, legal professionals and technology all come together at the show, which will feature more than 60 panels and presentations covering five tracks, from growth strategies and re-envisioning legal technology to cybersecurity and marketing. A virtual component of TECHSHOW for online attendees will offer two additional tracks.

Criminal justice reform advocate Kemba Smith Pradia will give the keynote address on Friday, March 4, at 1 p.m. CST. In 1994, Pradia was sentenced to 24½ years in federal prison with no chance of parole for her participation in her boyfriend’s illegal drug activities — despite being a first-time, nonviolent offender. Her story, which she details in her memoir “Poster Child,” garnered national attention and was prominently featured in a campaign to expose the inadequacy of U.S. drug policy. After 6½ years in prison, Pradia was granted clemency by President Bill Clinton in 2000.
