WASHINGTON, Jan. 25, 2022 — Rostin Behnam, chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will be the keynote speaker at this week’s American Bar Association Business Law Section’s Derivatives and Futures Law Committee Virtual Winter Meeting that begins Wednesday and runs through Friday.
Behnam, who was sworn in Jan. 4 as CFTC chair after serving as acting chair in 2021, will deliver his keynote luncheon address on Thursday from Noon-1 p.m. EST. Behnam has served on the CFTC since 2017.
