As the intelligence community examines domestic and foreign security issues, some ask if those distinctions are still relevant. How does the community balance counterterrorism, emerging technologies, regional concerns and other priorities?
Haines is the seventh Senate-confirmed director of national intelligence and the first woman in the position. She served as principal deputy national security advisor from 2015-2017 under President Barack Obama. Before that she was deputy director of the CIA.
The webinar will be moderated by Jennifer O’Connor, chair of Women in National Security Law, with welcome remarks from Mary DeRosa, chair of the advisory committee of the ABA Standing Committee on Law and National Security.
