WASHINGTON, Sept. 2, 2020 –The American Bar Association condemns the violent actions of the government of Belarus against citizens who have engaged in peaceful protests demanding free and fair elections. The ABA calls upon the Belarus government to respect the rule of law and support free elections free of intimidation and suppression.
