Annual 2020: William Neukom accepts ABA's highest honor, urges “impatience in these extraordinary times”

William H. Neukom, founder of the World Justice Project, delivers acceptance remarks for the ABA Medal, which honors his lifetime of public service and devotion to access to justice and advancing the rule of law. He urges association members to redouble efforts to bring the rule of law around the world and to work to eliminate bias, not just in the legal profession and the justice system, but in our communities as well.

The former ABA president accepted the association’s highest honor during the General Assembly on July 29 during the ABA’s virtual Annual Meeting.  The ABA Medal recognizes exceptionally distinguished service by a lawyer or lawyers to a cause of American jurisprudence.
