ABA joins with LexisNexis to expand availability of ABA antitrust titles in digital library

CHICAGO, June 11, 2020 – LexisNexis Legal & Professional (LexisNexis) and the American Bar Association today announced that essential titles from the ABA Antitrust Law Section, including “Antitrust Law Developments, 8th edition,” (ALD), are now available on the LexisNexis® Digital Library.

ALD, published by the Antitrust Law Section, the world’s leading antitrust professional membership group, is the preeminent treatise on federal antitrust law, authored and reviewed by an esteemed body of experts who provide comprehensive insights on all current case law and administrative and legislative developments. It is the reference of choice for anyone seeking definitive and trustworthy analysis and understanding of antitrust matters.

For the first time, ALD is being offered in eBook format, and will benefit from the dynamic, recently rebuilt interface of the LexisNexis® Digital Library, which offers users powerful new tools developed to integrate with user research workflows. Now users of ALD will be able to sort, filter, organize and download their notes and highlights to a personalized workspace within the LexisNexis Digital Library and will find it easier to both resume research and work from where they last left off and to share their findings with colleagues by email attachment. In addition, users who subscribe to Lexis Advance will be able to link to all opinions cited or referenced in ALD.

LexisNexis and the ABA are collaborating to offer discounts to previous and new purchasers of the print version of ALD who would like to add the advanced functionality of the eBook.

In addition to ALD, more than 30 other ABA antitrust titles are available on the LexisNexis® Digital Library, providing a rich resource for any professional seeking more in-depth analysis.

“We are excited to offer ALD and its companion antitrust titles on the LexisNexis Digital Library platform,” said Donna Gollmer, director of ABA Publishing. “The powerful customized tools built into this eBook platform will enhance the value, accessibility and research efficiency of ALD for its users and for users of the entire ABA antitrust content portfolio.”

“Our aim is always to provide the best legal content using the best technology, so we’re thrilled to offer more marquee content from the ABA, particularly the chance to make “Antitrust Law Developments” available for the first time as an eBook” said Anders Ganten, senior director of Alliances at LexisNexis Legal & Professional.

All ABA Antitrust Law Section eBooks, including ALD, are also available for single-copy purchase from the LexisNexis eCommerce Store.
