CHICAGO, June 5, 2019 — The American Bar Association Standing Committee on Lawyers’ Professional Liability will host an afternoon program on Thursday, June 6, in downtown Chicago geared toward young legal professionals and featuring U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, one of a dozen Democratic presidential candidates.

Gillibrand will discuss recent legislative efforts aimed at implementing and effecting more ethical treatment of issues ranging from student loans and improving a better work/life balance. The discussion will touch upon matters of interest for young professionals and the importance of remaining cognizant of ethical issues with respect to professional life.
