The ABA shares results from its Survey of Civic Literacy, the first annual nationwide poll by the association on civic knowledge. Passers-by outside the Newseum in Washington, D.C., respond to some of the same questions from the survey, revealing similar findings from the report.
The nationally representative poll of 1,000 members of the U.S. public was conducted in February and March 2019. Interviews were conducted by phone and online. For more information, visit ambar.org/CivicSurvey.
