WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 2017 – Sunday's 230th anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution, which provides an opportunity to reflect on how important this document has been to our democracy. Every single day, we experience the freedoms and enjoy the rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
The American Bar Association believes the most important way to mark Constitution Day 2017 is by working to assure these rights and freedoms and the rule of law are protected in America for all people. The Constitution will only be as strong as the people dedicated to protecting it.
