Criminal justice experts and civil rights advocates explain the damaging effect that fines and fees have on poor defendants during  “Just Debt? Reimagining Fines & Fees in America” at the ABA Annual Meeting in New York City on August 11. Panelists also explore creating more just and reliable funding options.
