Family Remembrances: Marian Blank Horn

Judge Marian Blank Horn of the United States Court of Federal Claims shares the story of her father, Werner Blank, who was a judge in Berlin  during the Nazi era and was removed from the bench because he was Jewish.

Horn spoke during “Lawyers Without Rights: Family Remembrances,” a program on Sept. 15 presented in conjunction with the Lawyers Without Rights exhibit. She was one of four speakers, all descendants of attorneys purged from the practice of law by the Nazis in the 1930s.
