Judicial Clerkship Program keeps diversity flowing through legal pipeline

Sixty law students from around the country participate in the 14th Annual Judicial Clerkship Program Feb. 6-8 during the 2014 ABA Midyear Meeting in Chicago.

The program -- jointly sponsored by the ABA Council for Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Educational Pipeline and the ABA Judicial Division -- brings together judges and minority law students through "structured networking" within small groups that allow the students to strengthen their analytical, legal reserach and writing skills. The program gives students a rare first-hand opportunity to learn the judicial decision-making process.
