Volunteering in Africa Made Me a Better Lawyer

I thought I would be the one helping people when I delivered food and supplies to the town of Kaoma, which is in the western province of Zambia, Africa. Instead, I came back changed, armed with new skills that have made me a more focused and effective lawyer.

Most young attorneys don’t have the opportunity to volunteer in Africa, so I wrote down some of the lessons that I learned.
