I just started a new job in August. The job is an excellent fit—exactly what I was looking for. Like many people, I landed the job through networking. But here’s the kicker: I am a member of two professional networking groups. I am an executive officer for my college alumni club, and I spent six weeks this summer taking a summer course in the field I wanted to enter. But the reason I landed this job? It’s because I attended my college reunion in May.
