Mayme is a Capital Markets Associate with experience counseling clients on transactions totaling more than $50 billion. She is also a forward-thinking leader on blockchain technology and understands the impact of distributed ledger technology across industries. Mayme is a founding member of Hunton’s blockchain working group and has led many discussions on blockchain including giving a TEDxYouth talk, Let’s Blockchange the World and appearing as a guest on an episode of UVA Law’s podcast, Common Law.
Active in the community, Mayme serves as the President of the Virginia Equality Bar Association, as the President of the Junior Board of Side by Side and on the Board of Trustees of Collegiate School. In addition, her active pro bono practice includes serving as the Co-Chair of the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Hotline and volunteering at VEBA Name and Gender Marker Change Clinics across Virginia.
In recognition of her service and leadership in the community, Mayme has been named one of the top 40 LGBTQ Lawyers in the nation by the National LGBT Bar Association, an Up and Coming Lawyer by Virginia Lawyer’s Weekly, and one of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 in Richmond.
