Laura Lee Mittleman
Laura’s practice concentrates on resolving complex business disputes. She advocates for her clients ranging from Fortune 500 entities to individuals in litigation and ADR, helping them pursue and defend against contract, business tort, class action, and real estate claims. Prior to joining Burns & Levinson, she was a litigator at Winston & Strawn. Laura graduated with her J.D. summa cum laude and Order of the Coif from DePaul University and received her B.A. from Middlebury College.
Laura was selected for the Women's Bar Association’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and the Boston Chamber’s Women’s Leadership Program. She served on the Board of Directors for Tech Goes Home, a nonprofit that tackles the digital divide and helps the underserved access and use the technology needed for 21st century success.
Laura is an avid road biker, runner, and wine aficionado. She is a seven-time Pan-Mass Challenge rider and has raised over $100,000 for the Dana Farber. In 2019, she ran the Boston marathon in support of Boston Medical Center and the NYC marathon for Boston Children’s Hospital. Laura has French and Italian Wine Scholar post nominals and has achieved a WSET Level 3 award in wine.
