Dani Borel is a partner in Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P.’s Baton Rouge office, practicing in both commercial and healthcare litigation. Her principal areas of litigation include: healthcare provider licensing and payment disputes; fraud and abuse defense; opioid litigation; trademark disputes; unfair trade practices and competition; contract disputes; and general business and commercial issues. Dani litigates matters and handles appeals before Louisiana administrative courts, state courts, and federal courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Dani is active in the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, demonstrated by the LSBA Young Lawyers Division Bat. P. Sullivan, Jr. Chair’s Award and ABA Health Law Section Emerging Young Lawyers in Healthcare Award. Dani also contributes a significant amount of time to Lighthouse Louisiana, which serves Louisiana’s disabled community. She sits on Lighthouse’s Board of Directors, serves as the chair for its Advisory Board, and serves on its fundraising committee. Dani graduated from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, magna cum laude and The Order of Coif, in 2014.
