Adam Acosta’s practice focuses on antitrust litigation, government investigations, and related counseling. He represents clients in a wide range of industries and frequently works on pharmaceutical antitrust matters. Mr. Acosta has successfully helped clients defeat a motion for class certification in a reverse payment case, secure summary judgment against product hopping claims, and obtain a defense verdict in a price-fixing trial.
Pro bono is also an important part of Mr. Acosta’s practice. He recently helped a client obtain executive clemency, significantly reducing a non-violent drug offender’s excessive sentence. Mr. Acosta also focuses on tenant rights and related housing litigation.
Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Acosta completed a two-year clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He currently serves as a board member for the Hispanic Bar Association of D.C. and is active in the ABA’s Antitrust Section.
