Karl defends Fortune 50 clients in federal and state forums against various consumer protection statutes, including the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), as well as state unfair and deceptive acts or practices (UDAP) statutes.
Additionally, Karl has defended millions of dollars of assets against numerous wrongful foreclosure claims, including HOA foreclosures. Karl also defends against discrimination and harassment claims under Title VII, ADA, FMLA, state law, and in wage and hour disputes. Karl served as the Chair of the National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division in 2014-15 and is the Chair-Elect of the State Bar of Nevada’s Young Lawyers Section. Karl also was the Young Lawyer of the Year for the State Bar of Nevada in 2017 and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation
