Julia regularly advises major companies from a diverse set of industries and geographic areas in highly sophisticated domestic and international tax planning that often involve many billions of dollars. She has represented a number of Fortune 500 companies in U.S. federal income tax matters and has successfully represented clients in federal tax controversies at all levels, including in corporate tax controversies involving millions of dollars in tax, several of which are significant vis-à-vis tax law and are followed closely by the corporate and tax law communities. Julia also regularly advises on mergers and acquisitions transactions – also for major multinationals – that involve deal values in the hundreds of millions and billions and cross-border complexities. Additionally, Julia regularly speaks at major tax conferences for professional tax groups on U.S. corporate and international tax issues and has co-authored several noteworthy articles in prestigious journals and legal publications.
