The email below can be used to initiate contact with the college/university at which you seek to host the WDLD? program.
I am the [position] of the American Bar Association (ABA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Diversity Team. The ABA YLD is implementing a diversity outreach program at higher education institutions across America. The program, entitled “What Do Lawyers Do?”, is a pipeline program specifically designed to target minority students interested in attending law school.
We would like to host a What Do Lawyers Do? event at [name of college/university] during [month] 2020.
The program consists of a panel of diverse attorneys who speak to students about what it means to be a lawyer, what it takes to succeed in law school, and how to prepare for a career in law. The program typically lasts about an hour.
Please let me know as soon as possible, but by no later than [deadline date] if you are interested in having the ABA YLD host this event on your campus. I look very much forward to working with you and your students.
