About the Program

The American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD) presents the annual Awards of Achievement Program. This program is an opportunity for state and local young lawyer organizations affiliated with the ABA Young Lawyers Division to submit their best projects for evaluation and recognition by a jury of their peers.

Objective

To provide an opportunity for local, state and national ABA YLD Affiliates to gain national recognition for well-planned, and executed, programs that contribute significantly to the public and the betterment of the legal profession. To also provide a forum to exchange ideas between Affiliates.

Submission Deadline

The deadline to submit your project is from March 15 until May 15 of every ABA bar year. Should the 15th fall on a weekend day, the application will remain open until the following Monday. All applications must be submitted via online form. The application process is now closed and will reopen on March 15.

Eligibility

Any ABA Young Lawyer Affiliate organization under Article 3.1 (a) or 3.1 (b) of the ABA YLD Bylaws is eligible to apply.
