Recently published surveys have painted a pretty dismal picture of the prospects for women in law.  Put simply women have made uneven progress compared to their male counterparts. There may be cracks in the glass ceiling, but it has yet to be completely dismantled.

Join Ellen Ostrow in a discussion on gender bias and the glass ceiling where we will address questions about stereotypes, the maternal wall, and the increasing complexity of the law firm structure that is hindering the advancement of women.

Psychologist Ellen Ostrow is an experienced professional coach to many women (and male) attorneys, helping them achieve professional success without sacrificing meaningful and fulfilling lives.  She also advises law firms on how to retain and advance talented women attorneys with practices and techniques that address and counter gender bias.

More information about the call—this call will last approximately one hour. No continuing legal education credits will be available. If you would like to ask questions about gender bias and the glass ceiling before or during the  program – please send an email to Christina Liu, the Chair of the ABA YLD Women in the Profession Committee.
