Tiye is an attorney in Exxon Mobil Corporation’s Environmental and Safety Law group. Ms. Foley recently joined the company, previously practicing as a litigator at Baker Donelson. While in private practice, she tried over twenty lawsuits resulting in judgments favorable to her clients. Ms. Foley has experience with creditor lawsuits, commercial disputes, and litigating bad-faith insurance claims. Her background in mechanical engineering also lends itself to intellectual property and environmental experience.
Ms. Foley has been active in the Houston-area legal community, spearheading monthly legal clinics as Chair of the NAACP-Houston’s Legal Redress Committee. She has also served on the board of directors and as general counsel for JJ’s I’m Me Foundation – a nonprofit that hosts life-development workshops for at-risk girls. In 2016, H Texas Magazine recognized Ms. Foley as one of Houston’s “Top Lawyers.” Since that time, she has been selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Pathfinder Program.
