M. Cabell Clay
Cabell is a Partner in Moore & Van PLLC’s Litigation Group. In addition to handling wide-ranging employment and commercial litigation, Cabell routinely advises businesses on a variety of employment matters, including employment agreements, trade secret protections, and employment policies & handbooks. Whether it involves high stakes litigation or review of employment practices, Cabell works with clients to develop strategies that align closely with their long-term goals.
In addition to her commitment to her clients, Cabell is a dedicated public servant. She assists victims of domestic violence in obtaining protective orders and represents the best interests of children caught in high conflict custody disputes. Cabell also serves on the Steering Committee for Chameleon’s Journey, a grief camp for children, and on the Board of Directors for Council for Children’s Rights. Cabell is a respected leader within the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
