BJ Jensen

BJ is Paul, Weiss’s first-ever Pro Bono Associate. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing and developing the firm’s robust pro bono practice, which averages over 600 individual matters annually. BJ guides the firm’s pro bono work on matters of national importance, especially with respect to continuing federal and state assaults on the rights of vulnerable immigrant communities.

Most recently, BJ has been a leader in the firm’s response to the family separation crisis; his role ranged from overseeing teams of attorneys working in detention facilities around the country to directing the firm’s involvement in the ACLU’s immigrant family separation federal litigation, focusing on meeting the needs of parents who were deported from the United States without their children.  Prior to taking on his current role, BJ was a member of the Paul, Weiss litigation department.  He is a graduate of the McGill University Faculty of Law.
