Will Briggs

Will Briggs is a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps. He currently serves as an instructor in the military justice department at the Naval Justice School (NJS) in Newport, Rhode Island. There he teaches military criminal law to all new Marine Corps, Navy, and Coast Guard judge advocates and paralegals. Prior to NJS, Will served for three years as a trial counsel (prosecutor) and senior trial counsel at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California. Will was qualified as a special victim prosecutor and also served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney. He received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Michael’s College, and his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School.
