Mari Bandoma Callado proudly serves as a Deputy City Attorney with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office (“CAO”), defending the City and County of San Francisco in federal and state court matters involving labor and employment litigation. Prior to joining the CAO, Mari exclusively represented plaintiffs in employment, personal injury, and civil rights matters. Over the past decade, Mari has served on boards of national, state-wide, and local bar associations. In 2022, CAL-APABA honored Mari with its Bar Leader of the Year Award. Mari is a first-generation immigrant and the first person in her family to go to law school. She received her J.D. from UC Law San Francisco and her B.A. in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley.
