Nyssa is a tech and privacy lawyer at Perkins Coie LLP. She advises clients on global privacy, security, and human rights issues associated with electronic communications including cross-border data disclosure requests, data preservation, and content moderation/removal. Previously, she worked at Microsoft as an IP lawyer. She is also a Washington Leadership Institute Fellow at the Washington State Bar Association; an Aspen NextGen Fellow at the Aspen Institute; and the founder of Mentor in Law, a global mentorship nonprofit for law students and early-career lawyers. Prior to law school, she worked in diplomacy and human rights at the U.S. Department of State in New Delhi, Paris, and London, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany.
