Celina Caban-Gandhi

Celina is a Family Law Staff Attorney with Manhattan Legal Services where she represents survivors of domestic violence, and recently served on Mayor Bill de Blasio's Committee on City Marshals. She is also the Founder of the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program and Board Member. Prior to MLS, Celina was an Agency Attorney with the NYPD's Trials Division, clerked with Second Circuit Judge Denny Chin, and clerked with Criminal Division Judge Wendel Daniels in Ocean County. Celina is an alumna of Barnard College (Class of 2008), CUNY Law School (Class of 2014), and the Ms.JD Fellowship Program (2013 Fellow). As a new mother and to address recent formula shortages, Celina donates human milk to two milk banks for fragile babies.
