Abre' is the Director of the Center for Environmental and Climate Justice for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. She is responsible for the organization's strategy and collaboration with the Association's network and chapters to address dismantling environmental racism and building transformative change nationally and internationally. She is the ABA YLD's Chief Policy Officer and teaches at UC Davis. Previously, Abre' was the Directing Attorney of Health for the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley and worked at the ACLU of Northern California, Center on Race, Poverty, & the Environment, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the White House, and on Capitol Hill.
