The TIPS Fall Meeting is rapidly approaching, and excitement is high for this fabulous world-class venue, the beautiful Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas. Over 250 TIPS leaders, members, sponsors, and guests will be attending networking events, business and governance meetings, general and standing committee meetings, publication meetings, task force meetings and more at this much-anticipated Fall Conference, October 12- 14, 2023. In keeping with this year’s theme of “TIPS—the Next Generation,” the new Leadership Academy Class will meet for their first session and will meet each other and many TIPS leaders and members for the first time as they embark upon their year-long leadership program.

Meeting Preview: TIPS Fall Meeting

Please plan on joining your colleagues at the TIPS Welcome Reception on Thursday night, the blow-out TIPS Reception and Dinner on Saturday night, and the traditional TIPS open afternoon on Friday for some wellness and excursion activities of your choice. The resort has much to offer, and wellness is also a priority for TIPS this year—take advantage of nature, sports, games, culture, self-care, and camaraderie with new and old friends during this planned open time and at the social events throughout this meeting. Two local public service projects are also planned during the meeting as our prolific TIPS Law In Public Service Committee continues that important TIPS tradition—join in the school supply drive and help support BAARK with the Animal Law Committee. As always, the Centralized Refreshments area will be open throughout the meeting and serves as a great location to catch up with each other in another setting.
Meanwhile, the important work of the Section will be underway every day through the substantive, timely, and innovative work of the committees, task forces, and publications. Leadership training is a focus at the Fall Meeting, and TIPS governance will be meeting to continue the important work of moving TIPS forward for our members and the profession.
