Professional Liability Insurance Committee
Jason Jobe
The committee focuses on liability, insurance coverage, and risk management issues relating to a wide range of professionals, including lawyers, insurance agents and brokers, real estate professionals, accountants, financial advisors, architects and engineers, and directors and officers. The committee is comprised of lawyers, insurance industry professionals, risk managers, brokers, and underwriters with a wide range of backgrounds and experience. This wealth of knowledge and experience provides a valuable resource for members of all experience levels. The committee publishes a quarterly newsletter with industry-specific information and updates, and it plans to be involved in a national survey of the law project in the coming year.
The key to any successful committee is communication and involvement. Our committee encourages interaction and community among its members. This is promoted by monthly conference calls and other options to share experiences, expertise, interests, insurance and legal developments, and strategies. We also provide other opportunities to get involved and gain valuable exposure in the industry through networking events, conferences, speaking engagements, publications, and leadership positions.
The committee’s current leadership includes chair John Muller of Palms Insurance and chair-elect Jason Jobe of Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, LLP in Dallas, Texas. Please reach out to Jason if you have an interest in learning more about the committee, contributing to publications and events, or simply seeking opportunities to become involved.
